According to Norse mythology two of the nine worlds of creation are elfin worlds.
Ljossalfheim ( or just Alfheim ) is the world of the Light Elves and Svartalfheim is the world of the Dark Elves
or 'Dwarves'. For the purpose of the universe we created, Alfheim is the land of the Elfin
Gods and Svartalfheim contains the actual elfin races.
There are also 4 languages in Svartalfheim - Phonea spoken by most elves, Chronos spoken
by the keepers ( time elves ), Pixish for the Faeries ( air elves ), and Zhatoul
spoken by the Nixies ( ice elves ).
FULL CREDIT TO both my sisters who have done a lot of work in this area, creating
characters, names and races aplenty... Penny particularly is extremely commited to
the development of this world, as she invented almost everything to do with this
realm.
